Ms. Alppay was born in Istanbul in 1981. She graduated from Istanbul University and majored in Economics. She completed her master's degree at Yildiz Technical University. She has been working for a finance company for many years. She was educated by jeweler artisans who worked in the Grand Bazaar and finally learned traditional techniques, filigree and enameling. She held her very first exhibition in Istanbul Design Center last year. After the positive feedbacks, she founded her own brand in 2017. Her work is focused on handmade pieces of jewelry using gold, silver and precious stones by combining contemporary jewelry design with traditional techniques.
