Mr. Atışan was born in Kırıkkale in 1953. He started making 8 carat gold jewelry in 1969. After working as a factory worker between 1975 and 1977, he started making 14 carat gold jewelry at his own workshop in the Istanbul Grand Bazaar. Since 2001, Atışan designs and makes jewelry for DÖSİM, which belongs to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, at his workshop. He makes jewelry and accessories of silver and tusk with the “Savat” technique.
